Interview - Esther Boskaljon

Momentum of beauty inspired by the photographer Edward Weston, a mysterious journey which drawn a fine balance between masculinity and feminity. Esther Boskaljon punctuates her designs by sheer and slender forms. Darker tones define the androgynous aesthetic over the Autumn/Winter collection beautified by an undeniable Asian touch.

"How can you express the soul of your garments ?"

Esther Boskaljon
"My collections revolve around mystery, elegance and complexity. Silhouettes are androgynous yet sensual, introvert yet confident. Essential elements in the garments are adventurous shapes that seem to blend together; continuity of forms. This pure aesthetic form language, rich textures and detailing express the soul of my collections"

"What makes you believe in Fashion ?"

Esther Boskaljon
"What keeps me fascinated about fashion, is the intertwinement between body, character and garment. They influence and emphasize each other profoundly. Fashion is not about designing an isolated object but creating a member of a team, a piece of a puzzle. The forms of the human body can be just as mysterious as the mind, and I want my collections to reflect this in an elegant way"
